Web3 Platform Integrates Social Commerce App Into Circle’s Payment Infrastructure

Web3 infrastructure platform Our Happy Company announced their first product, OurSong – a social commerce mobile application designed to enable digital creators to monetize their content and cultivate their communities through NFTs – Circle’s established payment infrastructure. will use to stimulate demand in the maker economy.

Our Happy Company was founded in July 2018 by world-renowned music artist John Legend — the company’s Chief Impact Officer — along with several pioneering tech entrepreneurs, including KKCompany Co-Founder and CEO, Chris Lin, Twitch Co-Founder, Kevin Lin, and others. The platform launched OurSong, its first product offering, in February to moderate fanfare.

In the official press release, Chris Lin, CEO of Our Happy Company, revealed their intentions to “democratize NFTs for the masses.” According to Lin, this mission “begins with one of the biggest challenges for new users: overcoming a complicated process to buy your first digital collectible.”

“By integrating Circle’s infrastructure into OurSong, we’re making creating or buying your first NFT as easy and straightforward as buying a digital album or placing your next delivery order.”

Built on the Ethereum-based multi-token standard ERC-1155, the market facilitates the buying, trading and exchanging activities of NFT cards known as Vibes through its native digital asset OurSong Dollar (OSD). Users can then buy a range of NFTs listed in the market, bypassing traditional fiat methods of debit or credit cards.

OurSong displays a user interface similar to that of TikTok and other bottomless scroll social platforms, offering a curated list of topics specializing in the user’s engagement preference, while also providing a beta augmented reality feature for the owner of the assets.
