Avalanche, NEAR, Algorand Price Analysis: March 18

In recent days, Avalanche has made strong gains in the market and entered a supply zone. A retest of a former resistance level of $77.3 should be seen in the coming hours. NEAR traded within range in March, while Algorand has experienced some buying pressure recently and could potentially see higher.

AVAX traded in a bearish channel (yellow) a few days ago and broke out decisively to hit the $81 (red box) feeding zone. This zone has had some significance in the past. For example, in early February, the price broke past this area to test the USD 85 support, then retested USD 82 looking for demand and rocketed to reach USD 94 in three days.

A similar scenario could unfold if AVAX can climb past the $82 area and flip it into a demand zone.

Near protocol (NEAR)

The Visible Range Volume Profile tool showed that the value area was in the range (yellow) of $9.65 to $11.8. This range has been significant for NEAR in the month of March. The Point of Control was at $10.43, representing a strong support level for the price, away from the mid-range of $10.72.

The RSI climbed past neutral 50 even as NEAR bounced off the POC and pushed past $10.72, signaling that the price could move towards range highs again. The CMF has been in neutral territory, and if this indicator moves past +0.05 it would be more evidence of a bullish push towards the $11.8 range highs.

Algorand (ALGO)

The trend has been bearish for ALGO over the past two weeks as the price set a series of lower highs on the charts. However, the past few days have seen a break in the bearish market structure as the USD 0.73 level, a lower high in the downtrend, broke.

On March 16, ALGO pushed past $0.73 to form a higher low at $0.73, and has since climbed higher. During the same period, the RSI largely stayed above the neutral 50 to indicate an uptrend. The OBV also showed stable buying volume, indicating a rally driven by demand.
